Since corruption and financial mismanagement and ill-function of administrative apparatus play an important role in creating discontent among the people and undermine the foundations of any society, the best way to combat lawlessness and abuse in the administration of the country and the most effective measures for the prevention of the occurrence of defective administration is an ongoing monitoring and oversight of specific institutions in the country. In this regard and due to article 174 of the constitution the GIO supervises and verifies the implementation of laws by the administrative organs responsible. The aim of this study is to identify the nature of an anti-corruption and protector body of the rights of citizens. This research seeks to reflect the structure and functions of the GIO and it's Structural and functional features.
