Abstract
Human resource management is a subset of management in its general sense, its objective being managing the employees as valuable assets of the organization for achieving competitive advantages. This paper uses the Michael - Armstrong model to investigate the roles, and functions of this branch of management. The research method was documentary analysis, and in order to gather the required data for answering the research question, all exiting documents and data related to the topic of research were gathered using data gathering from, and analyzed using qualitative method.
