The ombudsman of Hong Kong is one of the most active in the area of dealing with complaints, which has a special place amongst other ombudsmen. In the reporting year, resulting from the complaint investigations and direct investigations, the ombudsman of Hong Kong made 209 recommendations to the Government departments and public bodies concerned for remedy and improvement, to which it attaches great importance as it is the primary role of this Office to promote good public administration for responsive and responsible, fair and open governance. The present paper seeks to provide readers with the latest experiences in the ombudsman of Hong in 2018.
